Do not use soap to clean your piercing!  Soap can dry out your skin and leaves a film that will irritate your new piercing.

When cleaning your piercing make sure you remove ALL dried matter when you clean it and before you work the jewelry through with Bactine.  If you don't, IT WILL HURT!  Also remember to rinse the Bactine off. 

Too ease the pain of any piercing, or if you develop a lump around your piercing and you've followed the cleaning regimen, you can make a sea salt and water rinse of one part sea salt to ten parts warm water up to 3 - 4 times a day in addition to cleaning twice daily.

For your oral piercing use Listerine, not Scope!

Listerine kills the bacteria in your mouth that cause gum and mouth diseases, Scope is a cosmetic breath freshener for bad breath and will not prevent infection.

Remember: DON'T TOUCH IT, DON'T PLAY WITH IT, & DON'T LET ANYBODY LICK IT!!!
